Wednesday Night FUEL at New Haven UMC
FUEL is back! And we are kicking things off on September 7th. We’re partnering up with New Haven United Methodist Preschool for their Back-to-School celebration, too.
Join us every week for dinner at 5:45 p.m. and small group opportunities for every age group from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.
Our kickoff night will be a bit different than our typical Wednesday night FUEL. We’re beginning the FUEL season with a party! We’ll have pulled pork for dinner, and lot's of fun activities for the kids 🎉
FUEL Classes
Kids (3 years old - 5th Grade)
Preschool and elementary-age students can head down to the Jungle Room for some Wednesday evening fun! The kids start out altogether for a bible story video and some singing & dancing together. Then, they break out into age groups and learn more about Jesus.
Middle & High School (6th - 12th Grade)
Our youth group meets on Wednesdays for some social time and a bible study lesson. The students meet in the basement and typically start out by playing games or socializing. Then, they gather together for a group discussion!
Adult Classes (all adult ages)
This season, we are offering two bible study options for adults.
Beginner Class: The Happiness Advantage
This class will study the power that a positive mindset will have on your work and your life. This class is recommended for someone looking for a more introductory experience. It’s not a biblically-focused study but will include personal growth community-building conversation.
Intermediate Class: Jesus > Old Testament
This is a deep dive into the Book of Hebrews and why Jesus was better than the Old Covenant God promised back in the Old Testament. This class is recommended for someone looking for a deeper bible study-type session.
Our New “Big Events”
This year, we’re excited to share that we’re shaking things up! Once a month, we will take a break from our typical adult bible study classes and offer a special Wednesday evening activity. We will share more information about these events soon. For September, our big event will be the FUEL kickoff night. We’ll share details on October’s big event very soon!
